I wonder how much Uber Eats paid Gwyneth Paltrow for this Super Bowl commercial. I suspect it was high seven figures. I’m not a Gwyneth fan in general, but good on her for having a sense of humor about it. I respect that.

Exactly this. I’m not a fan of her personality, but I have to give her credit for having a sense of humor about how she’s seen. She’s savvy AF and laughing all the way to the bank.

(Also, the love sex goop show on Netflix was actually good. She was barely on the show at all but had clearly created the container for some really interesting conversations to happen.)

Really sick of seeing (uber(hey that’s a pun!))wealthy celebrities collaborate with UberEats. Uber is NOT an ethical company whether it’s rideshare or food delivery. These celebrities should be using their platform to highlight the grossly unfair and illegal wages paid to UberEats’ workers – yep, they ain’t ‘contractors!’

Yes. It’s not just the drivers or workers though. It’s restaurants, that are paying exhorbitant fees (which they should opt out of). Plus, Uber Eats lists restaurants that are not in partnership with them and have caused problems. I know of 3 restaurants (one I’m very familiar with) in my area, that doesn’t have an agreement with Uber Eats and still lists them. 2 of the 3, that I’m aware of are actively arguing with Uber Eats to get their name off their site. The one restaurant has put out very public notices saying they are not in partnership with Uber Eats, they don’t do delivery but takeout, if you’ve ordered delivery from them through Uber Eats you are being scammed. It really shook them when they had customers calling them asking them when orders they never received were going to be delivered. UE might work out for some/ a lot of customers. If you want to be sure, call the restaurant’s direct # to verify they are an Uber Eats partner. Gwyneth can eat/taste her own va jay jay. Little disappointed in Jennifer Coolidge-like her. Our acquaintance, that owns a small restaurant, received some very undeserved criticisms online due to Uber Eats through no fault of their own. I’ll give the evil eye to the Super Bowl ads. Article about Uber Eats controversy.

Hahaha, I’ll say Question ahead of time-How should Tuesday be pronounced? Asking for a friend. Americans have mean things to say about other countries. It works all sides around. I will say we have, in our neighborhood, a few people that decorate for every holiday. It’s kind of fun to see. P.S. We still have some Christmas lights up. They help through the dark days.

I went to rehab 15 years ago. Sober ever since. But, it’s hard to imagine an in patient rehab where they let you have your phone.
